Many parks offer solar observing as a ranger-led program or host a solar party with the help of local amateur astronomy clubs when there is an eclipse. On May 20, 2012, during the most recent eclipse, parks with astronomy education programs held festival activities for all ages. Even though there won't be another eclipse quite like that until 2017, parks continue to hold other astronomy events and programs. Check out the list below to get an idea of what's coming up!
