Reed Wilderness Seashore Sanctuary
Encompassing the northern portion of Jupiter Island, the Reed Wilderness Seashore Sanctuary is an unaltered section of the east coast of Florida seashore. Located within Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge, the site includes semitropical plant associations of mangrove swamps, coastal strand and shell mound types, providing an increasingly rare nesting site for Atlantic loggerhead turtles.
